Disorder, Sensory Integrative Disorders, Asperger's (HFA) and some Learning Disabilities have difficulty with predictable issues. By discussing what those difficulties are and by providing you with concrete tools to use we hope to improve overall academic and social function.
The usual behavior modification strategies frequently fail to work for these kids, and you as a professional must deal with over aroused and disinhibited behavior. Providing a practical understanding of what is occurring neurologically will help you to understand, deal with, and manage out of control behavior so that more learning can occur within the structure of your classroom.
